Polyphenol is a a chemical element of the green tea that reduces the amount of pressure caused by oxidative stress or lack of oxygen in the neurons or spinal cord.Thus it Reduces the risk of damage a lot, recently  Chinese researchers have  found such evidence in a study.


The fatigue that is felt due to continuous working in the body of an individual is called oxidative stress.


Liaoning Medical University's chief researcher Xianbo Zhao and his colleagues have tested this on mice in the laboratory and found very positive results.Zhao said, "The application of green tea extract significantly reduces oxidative stress and neural appetocytes."

Typical symptoms of oxidative strokes are seen due to moderate injury in the spinal cord.This is quite harmful.


Researchers estimate that these results may have a positive effect on cure for spinal cord injuries.


Green tea's polyphenols will also help in the production of new nerves, researchers have published this in 'Journal of Neural Regeneration Research'.
